Birmingham start-ups attracted by superfast broadband
Start-up businesses in Birmingham are being attracted to the Entrepreneurs for the Future centre at Innovation Birmingham Campus as a result of the superfast connectivity offered to all residents.
Advantages including access to superfast broadband connections, free office space and telecoms, and a wide variety in meeting and work spaces are all helping to make the centre a much sought after place for new businesses to operate, the Birmingham Post reports.
David Hardman, chief executive of Innovation Birmingham, said: "The Innovation Birmingham Campus is fully let, with a lot of the recent uptake in office space coming from the expansion of the businesses that have graduated from the Entrepreneurs for the Future centre."
He added that these businesses are helping to create hundreds of jobs and provide a considerable boost to the local economy, with the superfast connectivity at the site one of the major draws for tenants.
