Metronet (UK) announces unprecedented sales revenue
An independent internet service provider from Manchester has announced it expects to exceed its sales targets for the 2013-14 financial year.
Metronet (UK), which is based at Manchester Science Park, supplies customers with a superfast broadband service through the use of fibre optic infrastructure.
After the company saw its sales revenue grow by nearly a third in the financial year that led up to March 31st, it set a target of breaking the £10 million during the following 12 months.
Since then, Metronet (UK) has seen its workforce more than double to 75 and latest forecasts suggest its sales will surpass an overall value of £11.5 million.
Chief Executive Ellie Mueller explained that the fortunes of the company during 2013 have been particularly pleasing, saying: "We have had strong organic growth and have succeeded in going above and beyond our targets. The company is still growing every day with plans to expand both our sales and support teams.”
