Plusnet unveils new business fibre broadband packages
Plusnet has unveiled several new communications packages for businesses, including two fibre optic broadband deals.
The entry-level super-fast product, Business Fibre, offers customers typical download speeds of up to 76Mbps with a 50GB monthly allowance, although unlimited usage is permitted overnight. Unlimited Business Fibre boasts the same performance, but without any cap on data usage.
According to telecompaper, the new fibre optic broadband services have been developed and trialled with the help of existing Plusnet Business customers.
Of those firms taking part in the pilot scheme, 91 per cent said they had noticed an upturn in productivity and efficiency since making the move to fibre, while 87 per cent were willing to recommend the service to other companies.
As well as being a well-known provider of broadband packages for consumers, Plusnet has offered business connectivity for more than 15 years.
Founded in 1997 as a homegrown firm, Plusnet was acquired by telecoms giant BT a decade later, giving it a major boost in terms of financial backing and network resilience.
