Pury Hill Business Park launches fibre broadband connection for clients
A high-speed fibre broadband connection has been made available to clients operating out of Pury Hill Business Park in Northamptonshire.
The owners of the site have installed a 1Gbps cable from which companies can rent capacity to boost their internet connection on the site.
Accessing the new infrastructure will enable businesses to rely on their cable broadband as the bandwidth will not change at different periods throughout the day when more people may be using the internet.
Enterprises relying on videoconferencing might be encouraged to sign up, as the provider states VoIP software works more efficiently over the broadband connection.
Clients can decide what speed they would like to use and Pury Hill Business Park can increase the delivery in time for large conference events or other times when it is necessary.
Malcolm Corbett, chief executive officer of the Independent Networks Cooperative Association, wrote in the Guardian, that non-profit organisations are increasingly relying on VoIP resources, which could prompt them to sign up to such a service as delivered at Pury Hill Business Park.
